Dinosaur Fossil Sugar Cookies

These Dinosaur Fossil Sugar Cookies are easy to bake and delicious for the whole family to enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) softened butter

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 tablespoon milk

  • Toy Dinosaur (to stamp cookie)

Directions

1) In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.

2) In another large bowl, using a hand mixer or stand mixer, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the egg, milk, and vanilla extract and beat until combined. Add flour mixture gradually until totally combined.

3) Roll tablespoon-sized pieces of dough into balls and place on parchment-lined baking sheet, then stamp a dinosaur foot into each ball of cookie dough using the toy dinosaur. Refrigerate for one hour.

4) When ready to bake, preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

5) Bake until golden, 15-17 minutes.

Makes 30-35 cookies.
